Faltrego was invited by UK Sport to produce a video celebrating the handover of the International Working Group (IWG) on Women & Sport from New Zealand to the UK. The IWG is the worldβs largest global network committed to advancing gender equality and equity in sport, physical education and physical activity.
We landed on a creative that drew on the IWG brand palette and visual motifs in a mixed-media design using motion graphics, kinetic typography, stock footage and historic archive sporting footage. We conducted filming with speakers at Olympic Park, London. Their talking-points were divided into βchaptersβ around some of the most pressing problems around women in sport.
The video played at a launch event at the Commonwealth Games and was well-received by all delegates, serving as a rallying call to action.
