How we do it

1. Client Briefing

The most important thing to determine at the start of your project is purpose: what are youhoping to achieve with this photography? On a discovery call we’ll walk you through a series of questions that help you clarify the purpose of your project, and establish best approach toachieve your goals.

2. Creative Treatment

The next stage is the creative stage, where we create a guide for the overall composition of imagery, and workshop and moodboard the ‘look and feel’ of the photography: from lighting, to colour palettes, to aspect ratio,

3. Shot List

The shot list is a comprehensive list of key shots, or compositions, for us to capture on-set. It is usually broken down into scenes and actions, and the models featured, as well as whether it’s a wide shot, mid or close-up. The shot list is used by on-set to ensure all key images are captured.

4. Casting & Locations

Next is the scouting and securing of locations, and the casting and booking of models. We are experienced working with model agencies and negotiating fees and usage. Faltrego has access to location agencies and can assist with hires. For both locations and models, our contracts have been drafted by our legal team.

5. Photoshoot

Across a full 8 hour shoot day we capture an average of 3000 images, meaning we can fit a lot of scenes in a single day. We draw up call sheets which include a risk assessment and a schedule for the day,  meaning you can attend, meet the models and enjoy the creative process.

6. Photo Grade

We will send you a ‘longlist’ of the best shots, and you can review and select your favourites. From there, we will process your ‘shortlisted’ images, with a colour treatment and any other post-production, and export the appropriate format for final output.
