Women for Women International wanted to create a short film that will grab attention and inspire action. They wanted viewers to feel fired up to take an action to advance women’s power on this important awareness day.
We created a mixed-media animation using animated hand-drawn illustration, kinetic typography, photographic ‘cut-outs’ and live-action video (talking-heads). The aesthetic crew heavily on zine-culture to appeal to Gen Y and Gen Z ‘Instagram’ audience. The film included shocking statistics to encourage social media sharing.
We created versions of the film with US English, UK English and German subtitles and graphic copy, to speak to their key audience segments.
