Faltrego were approached by the University of Liverpool for a HEE-funded film to help explain the concept of Schwartz Rounds to increase uptake of students attending. They had found that students who experience a Round really value the opportunity; however, without first experiencing a Round itβs difficult to explain whatβs involved.
We proposed an animation as a visual explanation to help overcome this barrier. Animation provides a lot of visual freedom, so can be great at simplifying complex ideas or abstracts topics. We worked hard creating a clear script to work together with the on-screen visuals to explain the concept of Schwartz Round, as well as whatβs involved, in lay terminology.
The University of Liverpool were also interested in having some collateral printed material to accompany the animation, so we went one step further and designed pop-up banners and postcards. As we had already illustrated the characters for the animation, repurposing them for other materials was simple and cost-effective.
