Faltrego celebrates its growing team and expanded offering with the arrival of Milla Lewis and Charlotte Scholey who both join this week.
An Adobe Sundance Ignite Fellow, who's films have screened at Tirana International Film Festival, 225 Club at the BFI, LGBT+ Film Festival Poland and Torino Underground Cinefest, Milla joins Faltrego as Shooting Associate Producer.
Milla has worked across camera and production departments on programs for Channel 4, BBC and the History Channel. Her work has also been commissioned by a range of clients, including the European Commission supported by the Mayor of London, Adidas, Benjamin Clementine, and more.
Milla takes the reigns from outgoing Carys Hughes, who moves to Australia at the end of the year. Milla says:
"I'm really looking forward to working at Faltrego - to be able to bring together my love for filmmaking with my desire to see positive social change is an exciting and fulfilling prospect. The opportunity to do this within a wonderful creative team on such a diverse range of important issues is even better!"
Milla joins alongside Charlotte Scholey, who's breadth of skills and experience span film, TV and advertisement production, photography and - even - psychotherapy.
Charlotte's integrated production experience has seen her work as an assistant producer for concept art at Painting Practice, working on BBC's His Dark Materials, and Netflix's Black Mirror, and well as TV Ad spots for Meerkat Meals and Great Western Railway.
Charlotte is also training in as a therapist, studying an MA and PGDip in Integrative Art Psychotherapy and is nominated for Volunteer of the Year NHS award. She is excited to be bringing her lived experience working with survivors of trauma within the health sector to Faltrego's health charities, their beneficiaries and service users.
Charlotte joins as the company grows to a team of seven. She says:
"I have been exploring how my background in Art Psychotherapy and Film could create a meaningful collision. Faltrego’s focus on healthcare and medical charities and drive to create purposeful media allows me to do just that. I am excited to be a part of a creative process that is motivated by important causes."
Charlotte begins in brand a new role for Faltrego, as Strategic Creative Producer. With Charlotte in-post, Faltrego broadens and deepens its strategic creative offering with new services including market research, content strategy and art direction for high production-value integrated campaigns, films, animations, photography and Ads.
Finally, we're also excited to welcome Nova the Dog, who joins as Faltrego's Wellbeing Support Officer. Nova declined to comment on the role, but she's already made a positive impression upon the whole team!
